A beginner‑friendly horsemanship series designed to build safe handling skills, foundational riding ability, and confidence around horses. All programs combine clear instruction with a supportive learning environment.
Horsemanship 1 – 6‑Week Program
Price: $300
Format: Six (6) two‑hour classes
Hands‑On Class Size: 2–5 riders
This is our complete introductory horsemanship course, blending classroom learning with hands‑on horse activities including groundwork and horseback riding. Riders learn:
- Reading horse body language
- Safe handling and grooming
- Tack basics and equipment use
- Groundwork skills
- Identifying breeds and gaits
- Foundational riding skills
The program also supports confidence building, emotional regulation, communication, problem‑solving, and overall horsemanship development.
Alternate Track: Lecture‑Only (Runs Alongside Horsemanship 1)
Price: $120
Format: 5‑week classroom series
Group Size: Larger groups accepted
No riding or groundwork
This option is ideal for homeschool students needing animal‑science or experiential learning credits, or for students who prefer not to participate in hands‑on horse activities.
