This course is for beginner riders ages 8 years old to 16 years old. It consists of classroom work and hands on activities with the horses including both groundwork and horseback riding. Participants will learn how to read a horse's body language, about horse tack, how to properly handle horses, horse breed, horse gaits, and riding skills. This course is a great way to work on horsemanship skills, build confidence, work on emotion regulation, communication, problem solving, and more.
This class will be a group of two to four riders. Riders will have 6x two-hour sessions.
$240 Total for all 6 sessions. Must prepay to reserve spot in program. No refunds or makeups offered if you unable to make a class.

Oct./Nov. Session Group 2 - Oct. 21st, 2025, to Nov. 6th, 2025. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
This event is on Monday 9/29/25 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. This is a free workshop for any McCord Training clients taking one or more lessons in September.
